This exhibition of mostly small-scale works highlights the accomplishment of Brazilian-born, German-based artist Rosilene Luduvico. Her paintings and works on paper are intimate, pastel expressions that include self-portraits and landscapes in a particularly spare and subtle style. Yet, they evidence why Luduvico has had great success on several continents since her graduation from the Düsseldorf Academy of Art in 2005. Following her show of recent works in her home town of Victoria, Brazil, this summer curated by Tereza de Arruda, her work will be featured in two simultaneous exhibitions in Chicago and Munich this fall.
